General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope of Application and Contracting Parties
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for massage, cosmetic, and foot care services between:
Watinee Thai Massage (Proprietor: Carmen Elisabeta Rusu)
Leipziger Str. 32, 60487 Frankfurt am Main
(hereinafter referred to as the "Spa")
and the customer (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer").
2. Appointment Booking
- Appointments are considered binding agreements. Appointments can be made by telephone, in person, or via an online booking system.
- Please arrive on time. In case of delay, the treatment time will be reduced by the duration of the delay, provided that the subsequent treatment must start on time. The full treatment fee remains due.
3. Cancellation of Appointments (No-Show Fee)
- Agreed appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours prior to the start time.
-
If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the appointment or if the Customer does not show up ("No-Show"):
- If the service was paid for or booked with a voucher, the voucher will expire without replacement.
- If the service was booked regularly, the Spa reserves the right to charge a no-show fee amounting to 50% of the booked service.
- The no-show fee shall not apply if the appointment can be filled by a replacement customer at short notice.
4. Prices and Payment Terms
- The prices displayed on the website or in the Spa at the time of booking shall apply.
- All treatments must be paid for immediately after the service, exclusively in cash, unless otherwise agreed on site.
- Vouchers can only be redeemed for the services or value specified thereon exclusively at our Spa and cannot be paid out in cash.
- The validity period of vouchers is generally one year from the date of issue.
- Any attempt to use the voucher fraudulently, or any attempted alteration thereof, renders the voucher invalid and leads to its expiration without replacement.
5. Exclusion of Medical Treatment Services and Liability
- The massages, cosmetic treatments, and foot care services offered at the Spa are exclusively pure cosmetic and preventative wellness applications. They serve solely for relaxation, body care, and the activation of self-healing powers.
- The treatments do not constitute medical therapy, healing treatment, or a doctor's service and cannot replace them.
- The Customer undertakes to inform the Spa staff unsolicitedly and fully about their current state of health before the start of the treatment, especially regarding pre-existing conditions, allergies, pregnancy, acute injuries, or chronic ailments.
- Liability for consequential damages resulting from the Customer having concealed or falsely communicated relevant health information is excluded.
- The Spa reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if contraindications exist, the Customer's health appears to be at risk, or the Customer fails to provide the necessary information.
6. Liability (Damage and Valuables)
- The Spa is liable for damage to the Customer's property and health only in cases of intent or gross negligence.
- No liability is assumed for valuables, jewellery, or clothing brought by the Customer. Please store these securely or keep them on your person during the treatment.
